Finance

3Sixty Sports offers finance options through Q Mastercard (18 Months Interest Free) for purchases over $1000 and through AfterPay for lower value purchases.  With both options there is no guarantee that finance will be approved.  However, we will do our best to guide you through the process to give you the best opportunity of gaining approval.

How do apply for Finance for purchases over $1000?

Purchases over $1000 can be financed through Q Mastercard.  When completing the Check Out process you will be given an option of FINANCE.  If you choose this option when completing check out confirmation/directions will be sent to your specified email. If you would like to be pre-approved for a purchase you can complete the form at anytime using this LINK.

Do you offer interest free deals?

Yes! We offer 12 months interest free on all approved purchases over $1000.

Do you offer finance terms longer than 12 months?

You can arrange longer terms for finance when applying through Q Mastercard, however Interest Free terms are capped at 12 months.

Can you offer longer interest free terms on finance?

We will, at times, offer interest free terms in excess of 18 months to approved customers.  Just keep an eye out on our Facebook page for details!

How do I deal with a warranty?

We work hard prior to dispatching your product to make sure it never comes back as a warranty issue. We get how frustrating warranty problems can be and our aim is to assess any problems, find a resolution and get you back out using your product as quickly as we can. As with all warranty though there are some things you need to know:

3Sixty Sports does not warrant against failure or damage due to misuse such as, but not limited to incorrect installation, poor maintenance, abuse or neglect, using the product for something other than its intended purpose, alteration of the product unless expressly permitted in writing by 3Sixty Sports.

3Sixty Sports does not cover general wear and tear.

Corrosion and/or deterioration caused by material fatigue defined as the natural breakdown of materials that occurs after extended use will not be covered under warranty.

After the initial 30 day period 3Sixty Sports Reserve the right to repair or replace any defective part under warranty.

Warranty is non transferable and applies to the original purchaser only. Proof of purchase is required with all potential warranty claims.

Any item that is repaired or replaced under warranty will be covered by a period equal to the remaining warranty period of the original part.

Costs incurred as a result of loss of use, as well as labour charges for part replacement or changeovers are not covered.

If a repair or replacement is not possible 3Sixty Sports reserve the right to offer an alternative of equal or greater value (colour may vary) or a partial refund proportional to the remaining life of the product.

Always install, repair and use your product in strict compliance with the product's instructions; failure to do so might damage the products and cause a serious accident.

What is the life expectancy of the LEDs?

The LEDs we use boast an almost unlimited life expectancy. Therefore, it rather makes sense to look at how the luminance decreases over time. Our long-term tests indicate that the LEDs lose merely about 10% of their luminance after 2 years of PERMANENT operation (17,500 hours). To make it short: Life expectancy is no longer an issue!

Which LEDs do Gloworm use in its lights?

Gloworm utilises CREE LEDs – Cree is the market-leading innovator of lighting-class LEDs. Currently we only use the XML2 LEDs and XPG2 LEDS in the CX Urban lights.

Are our lamps waterproof?

The Gloworm X series lights are designed to an IP67 rating. This means they can be submersed but it is not recommended. The CX series is designed to an IP65 rating which means they are dust tight and can be used in rainy conditions.

How often can I recharge a lithium-ion battery pack, what is the life expectancy?

The life of a battery pack depends on different factors. On the cell type, on how much it is used and on how it is treated. In general, a life of 300-400 charging/discharging cycles can be assumed before the battery’s capacity decreases significantly (80% of the nominal value). This corresponds to a minimum period of use of approximately 2-3 years if the battery is used twice a week. With careful storage when the battery is not in use, a life of 2-3 years is realistic.

My battery won't charge any more. What might be the cause and what can I do?

In many cases, the battery and the charger are in perfect condition, merely the battery protection has been triggered. To solve this, simply leave the battery connected to the plugged in charger and after a while (NB: it may take up to two hours) the battery will charge again.

How do I store a lithium-ion battery for several months?

Charge the battery ideally to 50-75% and keep the battery in a cool dry place for no longer than 3 months. Temperatures below 15°C are favourable. The fridge in an airtight container is a good option. Extreme example: Storage of a fully charged lithium-ion battery at 30°C (direct sunlight) irreversibly damages the battery – it may even fail completely.

I used the lithium-ion battery only for a short time. Should I charge it again immediately?

Or rather use it again and discharge it? If you expect your next use to be no longer than the remaining capacity will last, do not charge the battery immediately. The life of a lithium-ion battery is also determined by the number of charging cycles. Each charging cycle, even the shortest, is recognized by the battery as such; therefore, rather avoid charging the battery unless it is really necessary.

May I also operate the lamp without a cooling wind?

Yes, without limitations. All our lights are absolutely heat-proof. Caution! Please be aware the enclosure will heat up during use, however this is completely normal so please take care when handling in order to prevent injury.

Can I use Gloworm LED Light Systems for activities other than Mountain Biking?

Absolutely! Whatever your passion is, be it riding, running, caving or adventure sport racing, Gloworm will be there to light up all your adventures!

What if I don't like my light?

If you are not 100% happy with your purchase, return it within 14 days for a full refund. Plus we’ll even refund the return shipping. However we’re pretty sure once you get hold of one of our lights, you’ll never want to let it go!

How do I become a Gloworm Distributor?

Can you sponsor me?

We only accept sponsorship applications between September 1st & October 31st for the following  year’s team. Please email [email protected] and be sure to include a riding resume, and a link to some photos and video of you riding. Include covering letter explaining your plans for the future and what you feel you could bring as a 3Sixty Sports Ambassdor

Do you ever sell any demo bikes?

Yes, we sometimes have demo bikes that we need to sell in order to make way for different sizes or model.  Please contact us if you interested.

What warranty do Banshee offer?

Banshee frames are warranted for 2 years OR 4 years if the frame is registered with Banshee.  

How do I register my bike?
